OUR STORY

These strong feelings where at the core of the 3 founders early dreams. We are all in our 50’s and found it difficult to find a place where we could dance. Typical “ clubs “ only cater to a narrow age group of revelers. We dreamed of a place where people of any age could come and be welcome. Without all the alcohol, narcotics and overt sexuality. It is at the very root of our cause to help create these safe and fun spaces for children, adult and the elderly. 

We also found that when we did find occasions to gather and dance we were so often disappointed by DJ’s. DJ’s who seem to think we wanted to hear their idea of good music and not DJ’s who saw it as their mission to keep us dancing. And not everyone wants to consume only one genre of music for the entire time, many of us enjoy a bit of all genres, a meze of music. We are preparing a play list of so many great songs that make us really want to dance from many different decades and styles. Without profanity or explicitly sexual content. 

From these roots will come many branches, outreach programs being the first as we can obtain corporate funding and create maximum impact. Then events for the willing and able to pay, free events and maybe one day even a venue with all the lighting and extras to make your dancing experience memorable without the seediness of a club, alcohol or narcotics.
